Our Story

Richlin Machinery is a family business that was started in 1978 by Irv & Blanche Richlin and their son Jeff Richlin.  The company’s focus was working with high production screw machine companies.  For those that remember, the machinery used by them were Brown and Sharpe, Davenport, Traub, Tornos, Bechler, Strohm, Hardinge, and many more.

Based on the experiences with these types of shops Richlin Machinery  became a distributor and automation expert of high volume rotary transfer machines.  Automation of these machines goes back to 1980.

Since then, the company has pivoted into doing custom systems integration, machine tool building, and engineering to order, all while maintaining the experience and breadth of knowledge that got us here.  Richlin Machinery then turned its experience to help develop a small American made CNC lathe (OmniTurn).  Thousands of these lathes have been sold,

In 2017, the family business extended to the third generation as Jeff’s son Philip Richlin joined the company.  With a background in computers, we now have the expertise to handle complex programming challenges; like PLC + HMI, robotics, and machine vision.

Our mission is to help you solve your manufacturing problems, whether this is cycle time, reducing manufacturing costs, increasing production repeatability, limiting downtime, or engineering.

Rest assured that you are in good hands with us.  Our team has many years of experience delivering turn-key systems and is extremely thorough at solving all of the small details for every customer.  All of our engineering, panel building, and programming are done in-house so you don’t have to worry about the frustrations that can be caused by subcontractors.

We assist customers with ongoing support for all of our systems, even those going back decades or more.  Customers can speak with the engineers who were involved with the development of the system directly to expedite repairs or future changes to their system.
